KWM Series • Up to 30 MVA

Hydro Electric Generators

Custom synchronous hydro generators engineered for maximum conversion efficiency, high thermal stability, and seamless coupling with Hacker turbine shaft lines.

Engineering Highlights

High-Efficiency KWM Hydro Generators

The KWM series of hydro generators is the outcome of decades of electrical engineering partnership. Every machine is sized to withstand mechanical runaway speeds, electrical short-circuits, and severe grid disturbances.

Peak Conversion Efficiency (>97.5%)

Low-loss silicon steel laminations and precision copper winding geometries minimize parasitic iron and Joule losses.

VPI Insulation System (Class F / B Rise)

Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) with solvent-free epoxy resin guarantees high dielectric strength and resistance against moisture.

Brushless Excitation & Digital AVR

No slip rings or carbon brushes. Integrated rotating exciter and digital Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) ensure ultra-fast voltage stability.
